Clubs wishing to join the Social Backgammon Network must follow these rules:
You must have a free to play options for social backgammon players with no entry fees or side pools.
You may charge a small club registration fee, but it must not be any more than for any other player in your club.
The first visit to your club must be free for any social backgammon player.
You may only use the registration and results forms for social backgammon players.
You may not use the registration and results forms or the website for any other purpose without permission from the Social Backgammon Network.
There is a joining fee of TBC which covers the cost of setting up your club on the Social Backgammon Network. After that it is free.
As a member club, you will get access to an About document (Google Docs) to share information about your club. You'll also get a Registration Sheet where you'll be able to see the names and email addresses of your members. Members will be able to enter their own Results. The Results Form is automatically updated with player names as soon as a new play registers.
If results are entered incorrectly you will be able to edit them in the Google spreadsheet. You will need a Google as this needs to be saved to your Google Drive.
Clubs are expected to play by the WBIF rules of backgammon.
