Social Backgammon is a fun way to meet people and play backgammon.

Meet up and play in a local bar, café or club with like minded people for some friendly competition.

You'll be able to play backgammon for free, although each club may ask for a small contribution to their running costs.  Your first visit will however be free.

Find a club close to you, or if there isn't why not start one up.

For organisers, our website takes care of membership and recording results for your club. Results are instantly available to see on the website.

What is Social Backgammon?

Social Backgammon is a self organising fun way for you to play backgammon and meet people. You play either 7 or 5 point matches. If you win your match you play another winner, lose and you play another defeated player. You carry on playing in this way however, you may not play the same person twice in a session.

The rules of standard backgammon should be followed. You can find the WBGF rules here. Make sure you find out anything special like the dice on checkers rule which might differ from club to club.
